In 2010, the children at Donald Fraser Hospital served as the “control group” for our first intervention at Siloam Hospital, just 45km away. Since then we have been visiting the hospital once a year. The hospital boasts a caring rehabilitation team who know each child affected by CP on an individual basis; three therapists who have successfully completed the 8 week Bobath / Neurodevelopmental Therapy Training Course; and an active Carer-2-Carer Training Programme.
