“Thuso E Tla Tsoa Kae”, simply known as Thuso School, is a facility for children with disabilities located in Butha-Buthe, Lesotho. Although the name means “where will the help come from”, this centre clearly demonstrates that in their case, help originates at the source and any external assistance is incorporated, utilised and built upon by enthusiastic carers and educators at the school. Since 2010, we have visited the school twice a year and are about to implement the Carer-2-Carer Training Programme at the centre.
