We began visiting Manguzi Hospital in northern KwaZulu Natal in 2015, in order to learn from what they have managed to achieve in their CP service with very few resources. The CP service at Manguzi Hospital provides children with a healthy balance of individual and group therapy, access to seating clinics and regular home visits. They also have access to a school for children with disabilities, situated immediately adjacent to the hospital, which was founded and is currently operated by a local Disabled Person’s Organisation (DPO).
