Madwaleni Hospital, situated in the Eastern Cape, has a very special spirit of determination and commitment to the people it serves. Since our first visit in 2008, this characteristic has been apparent in the growth in services provided for children affected by CP, making Madwaleni an example of national excellence in this respect. In addition to providing individual and group therapy for children with CP, they offer five day residential therapy programmes, regular home visits, a seating clinic as well as an active Carer-2-Carer Training Programme.
